In-Home Wine Tasting What: One of our knowledgeable staff members will come to your house and conduct a wine tasting for up to 32 people. We will provide GOOD wine, not the $10 stuff. The presenter will talk about each wine and answer specific questions about these wines as well as questions about wine in general. When: A mutually agreeable evening. How much?: We can do almost any format, and the quality of the wines can range from very good to great. Our suggestion is 8 types of wine broken down as follows: 1 sparkler, 2 white wines, 4 red wines, and a dessert wine. The cost for the suggested tasting will be around $350 for up to 16 people or around $550 for 17 to 32 people, but we can tailor the event to your taste or to a specific theme. The fee includes one bottle of each wine (two for the larger group), tasting sheets, and an approximately 1 1/2 hour presentation. It would be advisable to purchase additional bottles of these or other wines for after the formal tasting. We can accommodate tastings of even higher quality wines. Where: We will come to your house assuming you live within 10 miles of Glen Rock. What you need to cover: You should plan on a designated person (or two) to help with the pouring. You should also have glassware (2 glasses per person would be fine), a few water pitchers, a few dump buckets, napkins, and, of course, munchies. Other possibilities: You can purchase a tasting to be auctioned off at a fund raiser. We can also do a dinner wine and food pairing where you would set the menu and we would choose a specific wine to go with each course.
